So the Giants faced off against New England in 2012's Superbowl series.
Giants took the field, But Madonna definitely took the stage.
Madonna is a MILF; Oops! I mean Madonna is an excellent singer and performer...
For her age she definately still has a sort of sex appeal and can still capture the attention of a younger audience. During the Superbowl's halftime performance Madonna appeared on the field sitting in a throne of some sort looking like a pop diva/Egyptian queen? Whatever. Anyways the effects were cool, the lights and stage setup had absorbing contrast and the field appeared to have been "eaten," by the stage at some part during the a special effect sequence.
Nikki Minaj and M.I.A than proceeded to compliment their elder singer by adding some modern day, fresh pop cultured music to the mix. I must say, Madonna stood out the most. For some reason she decided to start dancing with LMFAO band members who were DJ'ing "Party rock," on a platform.
Again older generation, complimented by popular youth bands. I think the sole purpose was to make Madonna the main attraction; and it worked. Personally I am fed up with today's music and believe it has no soul or emotional content. Its all the same blah blah sex, money, party bullshit. I can't wait for the day an artist comes out and speaks about a serious issue in our world today. Maybe a positive message here and there would be nice. But aside from getting side tracked the performance was undoubtedly better than Fergies and not to make her feel bad but the last super bowls half time was a sack, fumble, and interception suffered by the fans all in one.
Kudos to Madonna, good performance.
