Gudda Gudda's new mixtape.

Gudda Gudda's New Mixtape: Guddaville 3

Alot of todays hip-hop tracks sound relatively generic. Strippers, money, hoes, strippers money, hoes. This mixtape caught my attention because Young Moneys Gudda Gudda; most you may know from commercial tracks like "Bedrock." Seemed to have stepped his game up in hip hop.
Like most rappers there is ignorance in the mixtape, ignorance seems viral in this genre of music these days.

What stood out to me most was the instrumentals are just sick. Gudda's voice flows beautifully on the tracks ( no homo ). The mixtape basically displays the harsh realities of most ghetto areas in the states. Let Gudda give you  a walkthrough of his hood in New Orleans. I typically like his style of rap on the mixtape because aside from all the violence and ignorance that you hear in most rap songs you can tell there is pain in some of his songs and pain leads to anger, of course. The refreshing part about it is there is little things here and there that him and other artists say on the mixtape that address political and social issues. Its basically like; this life is hard im pissed, and here's why.

If hip hop artists can sway away from the negative and focus more on issues that are causing poverty and violence instead of promoting it; I truely think hip hop can become a powerful voice in music again. Hip hop was originated from giving a voice to the people, i'm not sure what happened to it but I hope some day it will find the light again.

Weh weh welldone Gudda.
