Nooooooooooo!!! Why oh why Netflix and internet pirates. I understand there has been a great leap in technology; but Blockbuster has been with me my whole life... Ugh I am disappointed and sad, probably like most Canadians are. This is just another fine example of how great technology really is for us; right people don't make it a day to go out with family and friends, rent a movie, and enjoy a nice little flick while eating popcorn and laying like a sloth watching a movie rental from Blockbuster. Oh the memories... Well I would like to run a poll on this because I am sure alot of Canadians in my generation have grown up adoring this blue and yellow sign. Movies will never be the same, even though I paid a rediculous amount of "Late Return Fees," the hastle was well worth it.
So; movie lovers what do ya think!? How do you feel about or fellow Blockbuster stores being shut down?
