Diablo 3 PVP released... finally

Talk about when hell freezes over...
Finally you blood thirsty trolling demon seeds can settle your scores in Diablo 3.
No more trash talk. My dps is higher than yours you're a noob if pvp was out I would school your character. Yatta yatta yatta its out son time to get down and dirty.

Currently there are two pvp maps available that can be accessed in any act by an npc trainer typically found beside the mercanaries for hire.

Once inside the "training grounds," its basically kill or be killed. There is no team play pvp yet released but at least we hit first base for player vs player battle in diablo 3.

As for balance goes I typically find my monk to be quite indestructable, paragon levels seem to have a vast impact on your characters strength. For instance you duel a level 10 paragon player and your weighing in at level 20 paragon. You will have a +30 main stat bonus and +10 to all other stats advantage. Not really too much but when higher level gear comes into play it can make all the difference.

Pvp in diablo is suprisingly enjoyable, It gets pretty repetitive and don't expect to have to really adjust your build for dueling certain classes. Though it is fun to watch your rival go flying in their agonising death ragdoll; in my monks case it seems as though I just hold my cursor on attack until the opposer is dead, and I mean DEAD. Duels last typically 5-10 seconds so they dont necessarily get intense, its more a display of burst power.

But hey, I'm thankful that blizzard finally implemented this feature and it does improve gameplay vastly, things don't seem as much as a waste of time anymore. Still Diablo 3 is not really an impressive 2012 game. A game like Guild Wars 2 alone shows an increasingly larger amount of effort in every aspect.
